patka_1, thanks for the link. Here's a rough translation of what it says, thanks to Babel Fish, of course!

The new "Sentimental" album of the singer Tanita Tikaram, produced by Philly Sound, will leave on next 12 April. Tanita TikaramCe sixth opus mark the return of the singer since "Capuccino Songs", left in 1998. The ten titles were produced by Philly Sound, while the artist Nick Lowe will be present on two pieces. The objective of Tanita Tikaram is here "to return to things which I had forgotten, with fundamental ideas: to keep simple and interesting things, to mix the voice with the other instruments in a very harmonious way "entrusts it. The first album of the artist left in 1988 pennies the title "Ancient Heart". Tatina Tikaram, then 18 years old, gains an important success with nearly four million discs sold in the world. Its new album was recorded between London and Bologna, and represents in its eyes "a musical revival". _ "It be different of precedent in the way in which it have be conceive and record but I think that on the whole it form part of development natural of my writing", explain it.

:) When I first heard the song tears almost fell from my eyes. But no wonder. After all the album's title is sentimental  :)
It was so unbelievable to hear a new song. I think I like it. The music reminds me a the ballads of Westlife  :), maybe sometimes a bit cheesy, but I'm glad that it is more acoustic then TCS, almost Lovers in the City style. It'll be great, I know it.

Dee Dee, glad your hair growing  :D

Yes, the official site is wrongly stated even on the V2 site, but Stephen is probably glad to accept this :)

HI EVERYONE:

AFTER HEARING "SOMETHING NEW" SEVERAL MORE TIMES, I WANTED TO NOTE SOME INFLUENCES I AM HEARING.  THERE IS DEFINITELY A MELDING OF VARIOUS ELEMENTS FROM PREVIOUS WORK AND SOME NEW THINGS AS WELL.

-I AGREE THAT THERE IS AN EVERYBODY'S ANGEL INFLUENCE WITH THE LAYERED STRINGS AND HORNS THAT POP UP
-I THINK THERE IS A LOVERS IN THE CITY INFLUENCE WITH THE MANNER TT's VOICE IS RECORDED
-I THINK THE PERCUSSION REMINDS ME OF LOVERS IN THE CITY ALSO.  THERE IS A SURPRISE--A MILITARY DRUMBEAT AT THE END
-NEW ELEMENTS FOR ME WOULD INCLUDE THE VERY RELAXED WAY TANITA SOUNDS--PERHAPS MORE THAN EVER.  THERE IS ALSO A NEW MATURITY AND WISDOM WITH THE LYRICS THAT ARE VERY BECOMING.  LYRICALLY, THERE IS VERY FRESH FEELING.

I BECOME MORE AND MORE CAPTIVATED AS I RE-LISTEN.  HOPE YOU  ARE ALL HAVING AS MUCH FUN! :) ;D ;)   PATRYK
I NEED TIME TO COMPLICATE YOU
