Hi

Yes, best to keep each other posted on the release of singles/album in different countries. I have just ordered a copy of Sentimental from one of my contacts in France but don't know if I bought another promo copy or the real thing. Will hopefully know soon! ??? ???

As I can't get the CD in Holland up to now, I have to depend on you and I think there are more of us who do so.

I'm quite surprised. V2 has a site for the Netherlands as well. I'm sure it will be available in NL too, maybe 1 or 2 weeks later.
My experience is that people working on cd-shops have no idea about cd-releases, anyway.

Oh, I just noticed the single photo. The question is: Is this only a promo-omly thing, or is there a chance there'll be a commercially available single... with some unreleased b-sides maybe :o)

This morning I found a Music shop who can deliver the CD to me next month! It is the special edition, "Sentimental - Digipack", and the price is nearly Euro 22. That is the same price as the normal ediition. I made a reservation, so now I'm certain that I get this item. By the wayy: The shop where I found this information is "Music Store", which you can find all over Holland.

What is the difference between a digipack and a normal edition?

P.S. check your mailbox.  ;)

Some info about promotion of Sentimental in Germany (and Austria?).
http://www.edel.at/index.php3?id=1&n_id=2435

Info for Hungarian fans: Sentimental and all Naive's records will be distributed by CLS Records in Hungary. But that's all they write in their homepage about Tanita.

Well, new to this forum but not new to Tanita. I've been a fan ever since the first electric frisson I got hearing "Twist" all those years ago, and I've tried to keep up with her CDs, although never got the chance to see her in concert (this time ... crossing my fingers!).

I'm delighted with the new album, even though I haven't felt that any of her individual records since Ancient Heart have had quite the same range and changeable flavor. I'm so glad she's coming out with new material ... I was beginning to wonder if we'd ever see more again.

According the Music Shop owner, the CD will be released in Holland on April 18 and this will also be the date that I will receive the Digipack-CD I ordered! So, still a little bit more than a week to go.

By the way: I stiil don't know exactly what the difference between the normal CD and the Digipack is. Does anyone know?

I guess there's no difference between the two editions concearning the tracklist.

I don't see any pre-orders in e-shops of Hungary, Slovakia or the Czech republic. Hm. Although the German realease date is tomorrow.

I'm realy mad!! I just got a phonecall from the Music Shop, with the message that the ordered Digipack is not available for The Netherlands. I now have to accept the normal CD, instead of the Digipack and I can pick it up this afternoon.

Does anyone of you know if the digipack is available in other countries? Or is it just our country!

Gerrit, I've ordered the digipack from www.nlstore.nl. Here is the link:
http://www.nlstore.nl/shop3/shopexd.asp?id=78151300

Now that I've read your message I wonder what will happen next. Nobody has called me so far. What makes me a bit doubtful about the availability of the digipack in the Netherlands is that there is no track info available (Geen track en/of extra info beschikbaar). You can find find track info when you link to the non-digipack version, though:
http://www.nlstore.nl/shop3/ShopExd.asp?Id=78136700&Level3=5033197321721

Does it mean I should expect a phone call from the nlstore now? ::)
