If you're looking for good music
« on: October 13, 2003, 10:46:23 pm »
...you've gotta check out Leona Naess!! I recently discovered Leona through a friend who works at Universal. She strongly recommended her to me, so I thought I'd check it out. I picked up her 3rd album and I just can't put it down! Even though her style is kinda different from Tanita Tikaram's, Leona has a soft & soulful voice that I just love. Anway, check her out at www.leonanaess.com if you're looking for some really good music. Enjoy~

 :) Hi!

If you are looking for a good album, listen to Sheryl Crow's 'Wildflower'!  Has anyone heard the new album?
Can't get enough of it and really looking forward to meeting her in person next week. Managed to buy a VIP package which includes soundcheck, group photo with Sheryl and goodie bag etc
Let's hope Lance Armstrong is there too as I would really like his autograph (managed to get Sheryl's during the Tour de France 2004 by chatting to the Flemish US Postal coach driver!!)  ;)

The concert will be at what used to be the 'Hammersmith Odeon' in London, and where I saw TT for the first time with David in February 1990 and we met TT & PC backstage!! Those were the days!!! Wonder what TT is doing now. Let's hope there will be a journal posting on the official website soon.

Cheers

Natty

I've listened to that Sheryl album once. It sounded rather sleepy. Not that sleepiness is a bad thing.

My new favourites:
Pato Fu - http://www.patofu.com.br/
Erik Sumo - http://myspace.com/eriksumo
Ladytron. Ok, this is an old favourite, but they have a new album - http://www.ladytron.com/

I love Madeline Peyroux.

She sounds like Billie Holiday.   PATRYK

Btw, there's a new radio on my blog (http://tsaranka.blogspot.com) with my some of my fav tracks, which should be working now from outside of Hungary as well. Well, I wonder if it really does. Go, check it out :) (Sorry but the radio is not visible for Internet Explorer users.)
