Favorite Tanita's CD

FOR ME, IT IS TYPICALLY WHATEVER LATEST ALBUM TT HAS RECORDED THAT I BECOME ATTACHED TO AND LISTEN VERY CLOSELY FOR DETAIL.  SO, SENTIMENTAL IS STILL VERY FRESH FOR ME.  EACH ALBUM HOLDS A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART.  I LOVE THE FACT THAT TT IS WILLING TO FACE CHANGE AND STYLES--EACH ALBUM DEFINITELY HAS ITS' OWN THING GOING.  PEOPLE WHO ONLY HEARD ANCIENT HEART ARE MISSING SO MUCH.  ANCIENT HEART IS A GEM, LOVERS IN THE CITY IS A GEM, SENTIMENTAL IS A GEM--THEY ALL ARE SPECIAL.  PATRYK

Any particular reason 'Sentimental' isn't on the list? Cuz after 'Lovers in the City,' it's definitely right up there. Other than that, I just haven't the strength.

I THINK IT IS STILL THE SAME LIST FROM YEARS AGO THAT APPEARED ON THE BEGINNING OF PAGE ONE.  WE SHOULD GET A MODIFIED ONE AND HAVE PEOPLE DO A NEW VOTE!  THANX PATRYK

Well I just voted, and it felt very good pressing the mouse button selecting Eleven kinds of loneliness (even though Lovers is a good second). I don't know why I feel so close to Eleven kinds. Sometimes I have the feeling every song describes a particular timeperiod of my life, especially Elephant, Trouble, Out on the town and Hot Stones. My past year, rouding up my life as a student at the university has been exactly like Out on the town, sort of a slow motion feeling and as if your life is frozen and going nowhere in particular. You just are, you get out of bed, go into town, get money from the ATM, spend it, visit friends and family, and go to bed to prepare for another similar day. I think there's a time like that in almost everybody's life.

I don't know when was the last time I actually managed to get money out of an ATM. Last time i used a spanner. Nothing. Same nuts every day.

HI,

It's a good and a hard question to choose a favourite Tanita album, but the winner is for me  Ancient Heart.., because I like its dark and folky mood, the songs are very great and the lyrics are like good and deep poems. The other favourite is The Sweet Keeper. I like it because there are great tracks. Almost all of the songs I like especially Thursday's Child, Consider The Rain and I Owe All To You. Its melody and style is richer, you can find everything from blues to British folk.
Sentimental is on the TOP3, too. I like it for its mood and it's a short but not a boring album.
