Avatars missing and New Look

I noticed today that the forum looked really strange, with a big message about the user having an illegal version of Simple Machines.  This evening it has all come back and appears to be working, but my avatar seems to have disappeared, and also the look of the forum has changed - fonts, colours, graphics etc.  is this supposed to have happened?  just curious.

Yeah , Bluedog changed the color to start off the new year , so it's normal ...  ;)
Everything works perfectly at my end ... I can see all avatars etc ...

illegal version of Simple Machines... really? I have some problem with new version, but I am sure that everything is legal and free :) Maybe you visit this forum during upgrade, so that's why you saw some strange things.  :o
