My copy of the disc arrived very quickly from France. Don't Let the Cold would be a brilliant single.

Hi there,

this is my first post here! I've seen Sentimental in a Saturn shop in Berlin, on the dispo as a new release, and again by letter "T" as a new release as well. I hope a lot of people will buy their copies!! I ordered mine from Amazon to make sure i get it on the day of the release. I really love the new album!!

Welcome Napsugar!
Your right; Sentimental is a wonderfull CD, in a new TT style. The one thing what stayed, is TT's dark brown voice! I was happy that I could ordered it in front, and therefore I got it last week.

By the way: If you can get a Digipack, instead of a normal CD, try to find out what the difference is and tell us about it a.s.a.p. If it is something different, we are all interested.

I THINK THE CRITIC ALAN JACKSON CALLED TANITA'S VOICE A "DARK BLUE, ABOUT TO BREAK-UP VOICE."

WHETHER BEING DARK BROWN OR DARK BLUE, IT IS CERTAINLY A UNIQUE, ONE OF A KIND VOICE!

Hi Gerrit,

yes the album is really brilliant! I only hope that we dont have to wait another seven years for the next one.

About the digipack version: i havent seen it unfortunately, i'm not sure if a digipack is/was/will be released in Germany. I have the normal jewelcase version, but will keep an eye on it.

Cheers!

Hi

Received out copy of Sentimental the other day but still trying to find out about the Digipack!

Really strange that 'Don't Let the Cold' will be released as a single in the Uk and not anywhere else?!

Has anyone seen the album in the charts yet in France, Netherlands?!?! I'll have a search now!!

Maybe the single will only be released in the UK, because the single market still works quite well in the UK, but not elsewhere? Just an idea. In Germany the single charts is full of rubbish, lot of artists dont release singles anymore, because it's not worth.

I would say, if the single comes out in the UK, lets all order it from HMV online (http://www.hmv.co.uk), they have mostly good prices, and their sales count to the official single charts UK. Let's get Tanita into the top 75!!

My copy is the digipack (which bothers me because I prefer the jewel case versions) - what would you like to know about it?

If you would be so kind, please tell me where you obtained your jewel case version.

I bought my Jewel Case version in a normal Music Shop in Holland, after ordering it a few weeks earlier. Can you discribe the Digipack version?

The digipack folds out into three sections; there is a booklet enclosed with lyrics/performance information/photographs - probably the same booklet as in the jewel case version. It is all tastefully put together on matte cardboard (ie. not glossy). The plastic thingy that holds the disc is glued to the cardboard. As far as digipacks go, it is quite nice - not exactly lavish, but not basic either.
